The new measures for entering Montenegro are valid from September 11 to 24 this year

The new measures in the fight against the coronavirus come into force on Saturday, September 11, and are valid until September 24, 2021.

Entry into Montenegro is allowed only if Montenegrin citizens and foreigners meet one of the following conditions:

· 14 days must pass from revaccination for vaccines given in one or two doses;

· Mandatory possession of a negative PCR test, not older than 72 hours;

· Possible and positive PCR test that is older than 14 and not older than 180 days;

· The person must have a negative rapid antigen test that is not older than 48 hours;

· Only persons under the age of 18 (Montenegrin citizens and foreigners) enter Montenegro unconditionally.

Note: Citizens of Montenegro and foreigners with temporary residence who do not meet any of the prescribed conditions are sent to isolation, which can be interrupted by a negative PCR test on the sixth day after crossing the border.

TURKEY

Montenegrin citizens can enter Turkey. If you do not enter from Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Brazil, South Africa, Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, the United Kingdom, Iran, Egypt, and Singapore, you can enter Turkey with a certificate of full vaccination issued by the competent authority, provided that the second dose received at least 14 days before arrival in Turkey and/or with confirmation from the competent authorities that COVID -19 has been administered in the last six months. If the person does not have one of the above two documents, it is necessary to do a negative PCR test that was done 72 hours before entering Turkey, or a negative antigen rapid test, 48 hours before entering Turkey.

PCR test is not required for children under 18 if they are accompanied by parents, who have a certificate of vaccination.

Random PCR tests are performed at all Turkish border crossings. It is also necessary to register electronically 72 hours before arriving in Turkey via the following link: https://register.health.gov.tr/. On that occasion, HES CODE is awarded, it is necessary to enter all shopping centers, restaurants, government agencies, other facilities. USA

Montenegrin citizens can enter the United States. From January 26, 2021, it is mandatory that all passengers two years and older have a negative PCR or NAAT test, not older than 3 days before the trip, while for those who have passed the crown, a positive test not older than three months is required, with a medical certificate that the person is safe to travel. Possession of the test is controlled by the airline. It is recommended that the test be done in the United States, between the third and fifth day upon arrival, as well as a seven-day self-isolation. In case of a flight delay, regardless of the reasons, the passenger is obliged to take a new test, if they do not meet the required deadline 72 hours before the trip.

Citizens of Montenegro can enter Montenegro. Also, Montenegro belongs to the group of countries that are required for another COVID -19 PCR test when landing at the airport in Dubai. EU COUNTRIES

The European Union has formally removed Montenegro, Kosovo, and Northern Macedonia from the list of “safe countries”, due to the worsening situation with the coronavirus.

In accordance with the mentioned decision, the citizens of Montenegro will no longer be able to travel freely to EU countries. However, the EU Council left it to the member states to decide individually what the treatment with vaccinated people will be.

According to the EU statement, the travel restriction does not prejudge the possibility for member states to lift the temporary travel restriction in the EU, for fully vaccinated persons.
