From July 1, 2021, roaming in the Western Balkans will be completely free.
The next step will be lowering roaming prices to European Union countries. The cost of roaming between the Western Balkans and the European Union is huge and is not based on market conditions. Due to high roaming prices, the citizens of the region pay four times more for the same service than the citizens of the European Union.
It is expected that the abolition of roaming in the countries of the region will contribute to better connectivity of the countries and improvement of the financial opportunities of the citizens of the Western Balkans.
