After the Nevark Dubrovnik route had “incredibly good results”, United Airlines has scheduled seasonal flights between New York Airport and Cilip for the 2022 summer season. Yesterday, Unitet airlines completed the first year of seasonal summer flights between the two cities, and the plan is to continue starting on May 27, 2022. During that period, four weekly rotations will be introduced, departing from New York Airport every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. Also, the American airline is extending its flight program to Dubrovnik with services, which will be performed until the end of the summer season, more precisely on October 26 next year.
All flights will be operated by Boeing 767 -300.
Andrew Nocello, United’s chief commercial officer, pointed out that the flight to Dubrovnik was included in the list of flights due to the fact that Croatia remained open borders for American citizens during the coronavirus.
“We are very optimistic about the European market next summer. We started with several new markets. In fact, we may have included them later than we should have. These new markets are actually some of our most successful maps, because in particular, Croatia and Greece have let the world know that they are open for business. That is why our clients are interested, and that is why the concentration of flights to those destinations is going very well, “Nocela said.
According to Dubrovnik Airport General Manager Fran Luetic, flights from the United States exceeded their expectations. Tourists stay in Dubrovnik, which is an excellent base to explore the surrounding places – the nearby islands, Dalmatia, Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina “, Luetic emphasized, among other things.
