On the line between Belgrade and Tivat, as many as 72 regular flights of Air Serbia and Air Montenegro are performed per week. From Tivat to Belgrade, Air Serbia has 54 flights a week, while Air Montenegro has 18. The line Tivat – Belgrade – Tivat is one of the most frequent, and thus achieves the best results in terms of average occupancy of the aircraft cabin, of all airlines in the former SFRY. These data were obtained from the analysis of the current situation in the aviation industry of the region, published on the Zamaaero portal from Zagreb.
Compared to last year, more precisely in August 2020, when due to the pandemic, the air traffic was literally interrupted, now there are 136 more weekly flights on Tivat than last year. At the peak of the season, it flies from Tivat to 35 regular destinations in the Middle East and Europe.
In previous years, Tivat could boast of excellent air communication with Russia and the Belarusian market. Now that loss has been partially offset by an increase in air traffic with Ukraine. Therefore, this season, the line Tivat – Kyiv, where five Ukrainian airlines operate, after the line Split – London, Pristina – Basel, is one of the most competitive in the region.
