Online check-in is done through the airline’s website. The procedure is very simple, you need to enter the data from your passport, the reservation code or the ticket number (depending on the airline) and follow the further steps. When you have completed the procedure, you will receive a boarding ticket that you must print or save on your phone.
To board a plane, you must go through several airport checks, including the check of your boarding ticket. Airport staff checks the boarding ticket on the spot, by scanning the bar code or QR code.
